Need temporary storage during your floor transformation?

We’ve partnered with Stuff-It! to make clearing out your space seamless and hassle-free.

We will offer the Stuff-It! storage option during your initial quote. Once your installation date is set, we’ll share your schedule with the Stuff-It! team. They will contact you directly to coordinate the ideal container size and delivery timing. They’ll drop off the container before we start and pick it up as soon as you’ve moved your belongings back onto your new floor.

Standard transport rates cover up to a 50-mile round trip from Lino Lakes, MN. Travel beyond 50 miles round trip is billed at $2.00 per mile.

Clear the space fully

Vehicles, shelving units, workbenches, and loose items all need to be out before prep day — including anything hanging on the walls we’ll be coating. A cluttered space means more time on move-and-cover work.

Book storage early

Local storage units fill up fast during peak coating season (spring through fall). Reserve your unit as soon as your project is scheduled — most facilities offer month-to-month terms.

Ask us for recommendations

We work in the Twin Cities metro every week and know which nearby facilities are reliable, secure, and reasonably priced. Ask your estimator for a short list of options close to your address.

Pick the right unit size

A single-car garage of tools and boxes usually fits a 5×10 unit. A full two-car garage or basement typically needs a 10×15 or 10×20, especially with larger furniture or equipment.

Climate-controlled or standard?

Standard units are fine for tools, boxes, and yard equipment. Choose climate-controlled storage for anything sensitive to Minnesota’s summer humidity or winter cold — electronics, photos, wood furniture.

What it typically costs

Expect roughly $50–$150 per month in the Twin Cities metro, depending on unit size and climate control. Most short-term rentals run month-to-month, so you’re not locked into a long lease.
